Randy posed between Clara and Darryl outside this restaurant in Chicago's Chinatown, where we had dinner after the Law Forum.
Randy and I put in a lot of hard work preparing applications as well as public interest essays, explaining his career change from teaching disadvantaged students to attending law school. Shortly before his first admission (to Georgetown), he wrote:
"We all appreciate your hard work for us, even if we forget to express it sometimes. It is just like teaching kids; many times they don't realize what you have done for them until years later. I'll say thanks right now. "
2008: Randy chose to attend UCLA and participate in its public interest program. He joined us for dinner in November, where he was looking like he could use a bit more sleep, but was otherwise fine.
