The Cell Phone
As any of you who have traveled with me for more than 15 minutes know, I am NOT a fan of cell phones. They serve a business purpose, and when they do not serve that purpose, I don't use them.
For 330 days a year, my cell phone is turned off; it lives in my suitcase, and gets recharged the night before the trip, so don't think of this as a good way to reach me if I'm not answering the office phone.
- If I am on the road, at a Law Forum or conference,
- And you are already scheduled to meet me
- Or want to become scheduled,
- And are late or need directions,
You may call me at 206-453-8533.
- If I'm on the floor of the Forum, I won't answer the phone (or even hear it).
- If I'm talking to an admissions officer, I won't answer the phone.
- If I'm in a restaurant, I won't answer the phone.
As always, these rules apply to everyone except admissions officers, who may call me while I'm in the shower, at 3:00 a.m., or whenever else they please. I don't give orders to admissions officers.
